Watch The Ford Performance Geneva Press Conference: Video

If Ford’s conference at the 2015 North American International Auto Show didn’t pack quite enough exposition for your taste, we have video of the Ford Performance Geneva Press Conference here, featuring former Formula One driver Johnny Herbert, as well as the legendary Ken Block of Gymkhana fame.

The Ford Performance Geneva conference largely reiterates what we already know: that there is a new “Ford Global Performance” division at the automaker, and it will be kicking names and taking #&! over the next five years. Twelve new Ford Performance cars have been promised by 2020, wearing all manner of RS, ST, and SVT badges.

Johnny Herbert emcees the Ford Performance Geneva conference, himself no stranger to Ford; as he remarks, he won the European Grand Prix at the Nürburgring with a Ford V10 humming somewhere behind his head. Additionally, we here from Ford Europe President Jim Farley, and Ford’s Global Head of Product Development Raj Nair, before Ken Block finally makes a surprise appearance, emerging from the driver’s seat of a Ford Focus RS. Block represents a very smart inclusion in the star-studded group as he’s not only a celebrity with a large measure of relevance among younger generations, but he was also consulted in developing the Ford Focus RS’ chassis and drivetrain.
